Galleria Etrastudiotommasi, Florence
Edited by A. Pluchinotta, R. Bassetto and A. Sndonà, Padua, Piano Nobile Caffè Pedrocchi, 2012. An exhibition of sculptures by international artists who, over the course of the 20th century, had as their inspiring theme the hand in its various expressive and symbolic declensions. The works of Elena Mutinelli, Rodin, Picasso, Mirò, Dalì, Breton, up to the more recent César, Finotti and Paladino, to name just a few among the many great artists featured in the exhibition...
In classical and modern art the depiction of hands and gestures is often intended to express the complexity of the thoughts and feelings of the human soul, translated into very different attitudes. Elena Mutinelli, a contemporary artist, will exhibit several times, following this major exhibition, together with the great artists in the panorama of the history of international sculpture.
